Trash

A little bit more than trash... or not even?

Good App, excellent support

Not only this app is simple and powerful, the support is quick and personal. I really recommend!

Greatness !!!

I don´t understand the people who says "Trash !!" or "don´t like it" in some way. All I have to say is that it does exactly what it says, the technical support is SUPERB !! This guy Isaksson Jorgen is awsome !! I could ask a question either by 3:00 am or 12:00 pm and he answered immediatly every time !! Greatness !!!

Great app with great support

I use this app multiple times a week and have never had an issue. The Subtitle search works great and the tagChimp integration is very helpful. The icing on the cake is the support is AMAZING. I get answers often within an hour and definitely within the day. Bottom line, the app does what its supposed to and does it well. You cant ask for much more than that.

Does not work as advertised.

Tried to apply a .srt subtitle to a file and the software says "this is not a .srt file". Guess what??? It is! I author videos for a living. I think I would know how to create a simple .srt file. Its nothing but text formatted in a specific way!!! Not to mention it crashes constantly (I am running a new dual 6 core machine with loads of ram) and its horribly slow. What a piece of complete garbage. Skip it. Find something free. Find something more expensive. But find something else!!!! Ugh. I am asking Apple to refund my money. This does not work as advertised.

Great!

Dont Works with Front Row on Snow Leopard but works perfectly on iPhone and iPad.

Excellent features

I love how this program goes out on the net and gets metadata, sub files and posters, gives me on the fly choices of which subtitle file I want to use, and then allows me to accurately syncronize the subs with the a/v. The program allows me to increase or decrease font size--no more minuscule fonts like I get with handbrake. Another big plus: Jörgen (the program author) provides quick answers to my emails whenever I have questions. Even when there are times when I would prefer to process the video with handbreak, I use iSubtitle first to verify synchronization. No more waiting games to see if handbrake has them aligned. One problem Ive experienced on a few video conversions (four out of 30?) is whitescreen until the first sub registers. BEFORE YOU BUY iSubtitle, check out Jörgens other programs, like RoadMovie, to see if other features suit your needs better. I have both!

Doesnt do what I purchased it for

I have been looking for a good subtitling program that will allow me to create my own subtitles for some of my various French movies which dont already have English subtitles with them. I was led to believe, in looking at the product description carefully, that this program would allow me to do just that. Instead, after playing around with this program, I have discovered that it does NOT allow me to create my own subtitles to add to movies. The only thing it can do is load .srt files that have already been created to add to my movies. It doesnt allow me to even edit them so I can put them with another movie. Im disappointed in my purchase. I spent $20 for something I will not even use and which doesnt even do what I purchased it for.

iSubtitle

A must for a Mac user when it comes to getting your subs in place, only one minor improvement needed a sync tool with two poin correction so you still need an App like sub fix. Great a five star app all the way

IT REALLY WORK

I REALLY DOWNLOAD MOVIES FROM VUZE AND I M NOT IN THE US ,MOST OF THE MOVIES DOES NOT HAVE ANY SUB, THEY COME WITH BUT U NEED TO ADD IT UP TO THE MOVIE. I REALLY HAVE NO PROBLEM WITH THE MOVIES WITH OUT SUB BC I GROW UP IN CALI BUT MY GIRLFRIEND DONT LIKE IT WITH OUT SUB, I JUST USE THE APP AND IT REALLY WORK. THE BAD THING IS THAT YOU NEED A THING CALL "ELGATO" IS A USB THAT LOAD THE MOVIE FASTER, THAT THING COST $90 AND WITHOUT IT IT TAKE FOREVER TO LOAD THE MOVE, BUT THE GOOD THING ABOUT THIS IS THAT ALL MY MOVIES ON ITUNES HAVE SUB AND IF YOU WANT TO WATCH THE MOVIE WITH OR WITHOUT SUB YOU HAVE THAT OPTION. IT REALLY WORK GIVE IT A TRY.

Powerful and simple

iSubtitle is amazing, powerful, and so simple to use. Its very useful if you, just like me, enjoy having Tv shows and movies, with subtitles, everywhere. Worth the money. (:

Total waste of money.

I cant believe some company would charge $19.99 for this piece of software that is really not user-friendly and a totally waste of time. It shouldnt be called iSubtitles since you cant create the subtitles. If I didnt read the description of the app, my bad, but explain why I can only view full screen or Actual Size? My movie is bigger than the screen so I cant see the tools nor the subtitles. There are no tools to change the look and fonts. Its just not clear in this description what this software is actually for. Just make an effort explaining next time.

RUBISH !!!!!!

I PURCHASE THIS AND IT NEVER WORK ! DO NOT BUY IT NEVER BEEN ABLE TO UPDATE THIS APP.ALWAYS PROBLEMS WITH THE SERIAL CODE… NEVER WORK AND ALWAYS FRUSTRATING…DO NOT MAKE THE MISTAKE I DID… BE AWARE DROM THIS SOFTWARE !

It does what its supposed to do...

simple, no problems, and probably 20 bucks is a little high but i did not find any other app that can put subtitles on a video this fast.

Works as advertised but….

I also dowloaded Perian (free), which they suggest. Mkv files work fine…Does not seem to recognize Divx files… A bit slow too transfer file to iTunes. But it works, and I have not found another program to place substitles on a file and then be able to watch on Apple TV…All in all a good product, though a bit on the pricey side considering VLC is free...

The missing tool

iSubtitle is the missing tool. Ive converted most of my home collection to M4V, and in many cases I must turn to SRT subtitles from the Web. (Soft subtitles look so much better.) Unfortunately, many of those downloads have spelling errors, mis-timing, or other problems. Mis-timing is an especially ticklish problem—how does one fix the timing without compressing the movie first? Enter iSubtitle, where subtitles can be added, deleted and exported for editing—all without having to re-compress the movie! One can also edit metadata and add "poster" art so that the files look just as pretty in iTunes as files purchased from the store. I havent used iSubtitles compression features yet, but I was very pleased to see support for the turbo.264HD dongle. If you care about those professional, finishing touches on your files, iSubtitle is a must-have tool.

Thumbs up!

Im still learning this app, but so far it is doing an impressive job. Searching for subtitles is much easier with iSubtitle and I can view the results on the video immediately. The metadata from IMDb is a major plus. Only feature missing is the ability to edit the subtitles. A great timesaver if you want to add missing subtitles to your videos.

Greatest Subtitle APP!!!!

This app is just great!!! Not only it gathers metadata for the movie/tv show you are adding the subtitles to, but also let you pass thru to mp4 if its an mkv file!!!! For me, its worth more than u$s 20!!! Hope you all guys enjoy it!!

VERY good...

Do what is told. Very easy to use. Solve all my problems to convert videos with subtitles to iTunes. (pt-br subtitles too).

!!!

this need update to works on mountain lion without problems ! i dont have sounds !!! the exporting is not working and it is always failed and i can not play it on iTunes ! very bad ..
